How to set up a competition series

Here are the steps to creating a **competition series**

1. Create a Competition Series by navigating to the Sidebar → Competitions → Competition Series.
2. Input the Series name.
3. Add a short description of the Competition Series.
4. Choose the score accumulation method
5. For points scale - you can select the global default points scale, or you can select from your own pre-created scale (set this up first before creating the Series)

Using the global Standard Points Scale preset:

1. For Score accumulation method, select "Points Scale".
2. Under Ranking points scale, select "Standard Action Sports Scale" (our default simple points scale)
3. Once this is completed, click "Create".

Customising for specific Ranking Points:

1. Click Available Ranking Point Scales first.
2. Define your points (e.g., 1st: 1000, 2nd: 800).
3. Create the Series (e.g., "2026 Club Championship")
4. Attach the point scale.
5. Once this is completed, click "Create".
