How to manage heat draws

Here's how to manage heat draws in your competition:

We recommend building the heat structure (heat draws) once all competition entrants have registered.

Navigate to the Competition Dashboard → Schedule → Create Draw.
Set Entrants per heat, how many competitors per heat (e.g., 4).
Set the Heat duration, how long the heat will go for (e.g., 20 mins).
Set **Heat Advancers, **how many competitors will advance from the heat (e.g., 2).
Ensure the Advance Rate is set (usually 50%) so the system automatically progresses winners to the next round.
Manual Overrides: Use the Manage tab to drag and drop surfers if you need to manually seed or move someone between heats.
