# How to set up competition divisions

**How to set up competition divisions**
We recommend completing this *before* creating the competition.

1. Ensure you are logged in to your user account and set up as a Club Admin.
2. Set up Competition Divisions by navigating to the Sidebar → Competitions → Competition Divisions.
3. Pre-create all age and gender brackets (e.g. U14 Girls, Open Mens). 
4. Once this is completed, click "Save".
